African-European photographer, creative director and artist working between London and Douala. Specialised in advertising, editorials.

Cameroonian born, Violeta Sofia is a Photographer and Artist based in London.

 She grew up in Madrid where she discovered her interest in visual arts from a very young age. At the age of 16  she moved to London to study Media and eventually pursue a photography career in fashion photography, before establishing her self as a portrait photographer and conceptual artist.

​Violeta's work is Influenced by inequality,  identity, conflict and consumerism, and her clients includes companies such as Harvey Nichols and Top Shop. In 2018 a transformation year for women, Violeta was able to expand her painting practice as she exhibited her work at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Her work continue to be published in magazines such as Vogue, Elle and Deadline Hollywood magazine. And most recently her images have been acquired by the National portrait Gallery.

​As well as working on her professional and artistic practice, she also runs photography workshops in the UK.
